This record covers only the 64-episode broadcast. The four Brotherhood OVAs adapt Arakawa's separately published bonus and data-book chapters rather than TV episodes. The 2011 theatrical film Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood - The Sacred Star of Milos is an original story. Neither is scored here.

The manga has an earlier, separate 2003 anime adaptation. That series follows the manga to Maes Hughes's death and then runs its own original ending. That relationship is not yet catalogued on TrueToPage (see related_edges). This page scores only the manga against Brotherhood.

As the manga neared its June 2010 conclusion, director Yasuhiro Irie confirmed Arakawa had already planned out the final chapter and shared that ending with his staff, who were writing and storyboarding Brotherhood's own finale directly from it rather than waiting for the chapter to be published.

This is the clearest dated, sourced evidence of Arakawa's direct involvement in keeping Brotherhood aligned with her own ending, rather than a first-person quote from her; no independently verifiable, dated public statement from Arakawa herself specifically evaluating Brotherhood's fidelity could be found.
